Bruges

We thought it couldn't get any more charming than Amsterdam...then we went to the gothic city of Bruges. How can I best describe Bruges to you if you've never been? Think of a Walt Disney fairytale town and that is the perfect description. Narrow cobbled lanes, high stone towers, picturesque canals, waffles with ice cream, and even a painting of Rufus...it was perfect!!

Church of Our Lady with Michelangelo's Madonna and Child in the background...Michelangelo's only work to leave Italy. I lit one of the candles you see there
