On Sunday August 24th Dan's parents arrived in Seattle for their annual visit from Ohio. The nice surprise was that they had not been planning to come this summer due to our Europe trip and Dan's school schedule, but a couple of weeks ago they decided they could squeeze a visit in before our trip and so they booked the trip. We had a lovely time with them cooking at home and running around downtown.

Kathy always makes me her famous peach pie--my favorite. She also made Dan sugar cookies with pink frosting--his favorite.
